It seems like I've been waiting for this weekend FOR-EV-ER...and it's finally here! It's going to be E.P.I.C! Per the usual Friday post, I am linking-up with April {A.Liz Adventures}, Christina {North Carolina Charm}, Darci {The Good Life} and Natasha {Hello! Happiness} to tell you about five things currently going in in my world.
One: GEORGE STRAIT
Tomorrow night we'll be at Cowboys Stadium with more than 100,000 of our closest friends to send King George out in style. I've said it a million times {I know you're probably tired of reading about it}, but this is going to be a bittersweet concert. I can't believe it's his very last.
Two: Out of Town Guests
We're going to have a houseful this weekend, and I couldn't be more excited about it! Friends from home that I've known for as long as I can remember {literally} are making the trip to Dallas for the big show. I've been to several GS concerts with this crew, so it's only right that we're all together again for the ending of an era! It's a little more challenging to get tickets together now that we have spouses!

Three: Go Big or Go Home
And this is how we will be getting to the concert....
Four: Pretty Hair, Don't Care
Rachael and I decided the girls coming in from out of town needed to experience DryBar, so we've all got appointments tomorrow to get Big.Texas.Hair!
Five: One Year of Home Ownership
This really isn't on topic, but it's totally worth noting. One year ago today, we closed on our first home together.
Happy Friday!
Can't wait to share pictures next week from this sure-to-be F.U.N. weekend!

ReplyDeleteFirst of all I adore GS so you brag on! I might have mentioned this to you but I always think about when I was younger my grandma would tell me "ahh George, he's too young for me and too old for you" hahaha Have SO much fun! (um your house is beautiful!)
ReplyDeleteSo EXCITED!!! My parents got here last night and my AC went out but at least we get to see George tomorrow. ;)
ReplyDeleteLuckily I live close to the stadium and bought that $40 parking spot right after we got the tickets.
As I get older, my thoughts are comfort tomorrow instead of cuteness so blingy flip flops will be my choice.
Dry Bar is my favvv! Your house is GORGEOUS by the way!
ReplyDeleteAhhh so jealous of your weekend!! George Straight, Hummer limos, Dry Bar.. sounds like perfection! And yay for one year of home ownership, your house is beautiful :)
