Today marks 25 years since Lane Frost died in a bull riding accident during Cheyenne Frontier Days, {the Daddy of 'Em All}. Last fall, Aaron Watson wrote and released "July in Cheyenne," a tribute to the legendary cowboy...

8 Seconds is truly one of my favorite movies...and no matter how many times I've seen it, I'll still cry EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. It's just such a great story of a true icon in the rodeo world.

  2. Leslie, I'm fairly certain we could be besties! :) That Aaron Watson song. Love. I was just at CFD last week and was insistent that we stop for pictures of the statue of Lane! I'm amazed at the lasting legacy that he imparted on the sport of rodeo!! It's amazing. You should check http://wranglernetwork.com/news/lane-frost/ for the spread they did. It's really neat!
