Forever Country

By now we all know I LOVE country music {Love! Love! Love!}, so I just have to share the most legit country tune I've heard in a looooooong time.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the CMA awards {different than the 50th annual ACM awards I attended in 2015}, and they've produced an incredible mashup to commemorate the big event. "Forever Country" features 30 of country music's biggest stars singing a combination of three classic country songs: John Denver's "Take Me Home," Willie Nelson's "On the Road Again," and Dolly Parton's "I Will Always Love You."

Ryan tried to tell me about this collaboration a few days ago, and I kind of laughed it off. He said, "Just wait till you hear it...then you'll understand what I'm talking about." Maybe he knows me just a little bit. I hadn't heard it before I watched the video, but I have to admit that the video literally gave me goosebumps.  It's THAT good.

Anyway, {finally getting to the entire point of this post}, check out the video for "Forever Country"...

Take Me Home...

  1. I legit couldn't stand country music for all of my life. Then.... I moved to Texas, and it just kind of happened. I only listen to country now, and have no idea about pop, rap, anything else!
