Bumpdate 2.0: 14 Week

Due Date: December 1, 2017

How far along? 14 weeks

Total weight gain:  I haven't stepped on the scale in over a week...guess I should look into that!

Stretch marks?: No. I' finally remembered to order St. Ives lotion with collagen elastin and Bio-Oil just yesterday, so I'll start that nightly regimen as soon as it arrives.

Symptoms: Still dealing with the nausea and exhaustion. I'm soooooo ready to turn the corner and leave this part of the pregnancy in the dust!

Maternity clothes?: Not yet.  However, the dress that I am wearing today {14 weeks} is the same dress that I wore in my 17-week bumpdate for Huston's pregnancy...and this will most likely be the last time I'm able to wear it until after the babe is born! Needless to say, that bump is growing at a much faster pace this time around.

Sleep:  No trouble sleeping whatsoever...except that I just can't get enough of it!

Cravings: Cereal {Cheerios}, toast with honey, ALL.THE.FRUIT, and, of course, Mexican food!

Food Aversions: No specific aversions...but my appetite changes like the wind. Something can sound fabulous, but by the time it's ready to eat, the smell of it makes me gag.'s been so frustrating.

Mood: I've been super grumpy in the mornings, but I don't think that is a symptom of pregnancy...that's just kind of the norm for me. Ha. I've been having intense feelings of gratitude. Despite being sick all day every day, I'm still so very thankful that I'm able to experience the miracle of pregnancy

Gender: It's a BOY!

Best Moment of the Week:  Spending time with my family and friends in Kansas. We made a last-minute decision to drive to Kansas on Saturday since we had an extra day for the Memorial Day holiday. It's always nice to go "home."  It just happened that one of my college roommates was also home visiting her family in Pratt, so it was awesome to catch up with her...and meet her precious new baby boy for the first time! Huston had a blast fishing with Grammy and Grandpa.

Worst Moment of the Week: The morning all-day sickness was intense during the drive back to Kansas.  We had to stop twice along the way for me to get out and throw up. #NotFun #Ick

Miss Anything? Cold deli sandwiches!  Oh, and comfortably fitting in my clothes!

Looking Forward To: We have an OB appointment next Monday, so I'm anxious to hear our little guy's heartbeat again and make sure everything is progressing as it should be.
