Bumpdate 2.0: 16 Weeks

This dress isn't an ideal "bumpdate" outfit...but I promise the bump is there!
And it is getting big!

Due Date: December 1, 2017

How far along?: 16 weeks

Gender: It's a BOY!

Total weight gain:  I haven't stepped on the scale in a week or so.  I'm guessing around 10 pounds???

Stretch marks?: None that I've noticed...but I must start using the Bio-Oil treatment to prevent because this baby bump is growing much faster than my first pregnancy!

Symptoms: Ahhhhh! Finally some relief this week! I don't want to speak too soon and jinx it, but I really think I've turned the corner and hopefully left the morning all-day sickness in the dust!

Maternity clothes?: I'm in that really awkward stage where my normal clothes don't fit, but most of my maternity clothes are still too big. I'm mainly sticking with flowy dresses for work or maternity pants and loose-fitting tops, and just wearing stretchy shorts and t-shirts around the house.

Sleep:  No trouble sleeping whatsoever. I'm so exhausted by the time my head hits the pillow {typically 10:00 pm or earlier} that I fall asleep before I even have time to think about it.  A couple of times this past week I've noticed that I forgot to plug my phone and watch in to charge because I fell asleep before I even had a chance...thank goodness for those middle-of-the-night bathroom runs so I had a chance to plug them in to be fully charged for the next day!

Cravings: I've been eating Fruit Loops for breakfast...and sometimes dinner too! I was really missing mimosas this past weekend while in Fredericksburg for a girls weekend getaway.

Food Aversions: None!

Mood: I think I've been pretty even-keeled this past week. I don't recall any high/low emotional outbursts or breakdowns.  Perhaps I should check with Ryan though...poor guy, he has been such a trooper in doing anything and everything he possibly can to make this pregnancy as easy on me as possible. I'm so very lucky!

Best Moment of the Week:  Coming home to my boys after being away for the weekend with some girlfriends. There's truly no better place in the world than being at home with my little family!

Looking Forward To: feeling this little babe move! I think I started to feel little flutters around 17-18 weeks with Huston, but I wasn't 100% sure it was baby movements until after 20 weeks.
